Since we established in 2018, Detroit Disability Power has been building disabled political power on a modest budget. We're asking you to invest in something transformative: our collective, anti-ableist, liberated futures. Donate and nourish the social-change work of Detroiters with disabilities. Why Donate?
When you donate to disability justice, you invest in yourself and everyone you love. Any of us can become disabled at any time through age, accident, or illness. Your investment creates the safety net of resources and community that we all deserve. It's time to correct the historic divestment in disabled communities as a political constituency in Detroit. Adé joined DDP in 2025 as the Individual Giving Officer to help bridge the gaps in our budget using ethical and community-centric fundraising practices. As a disabled person who grew up in a family with disabled loved ones, Adé understands the revolving door of being both caretaker and the one needing care.
