• Directly influenced vaccine rollout policies that prioritized people with disabilities   

• Presented at reproductive justice rallies on the intersections of disability, gender, and bodily autonomy  

• Organized to drastically raise the budget of the City of Detroit’s Office of Disability Affairs and won!

• Outreached to thousands of Detroiters in voter engagement efforts

• Launched creative, accessible creative outlets for other members like the DDP Book Club, You Can’t Put Us Down!

• Expanded DDP’s network by building relationships across new issues and other coalitions on issues ranging from paid family leave and minimum wage, to employment and K-12 education
