What is Story Corp?

Story Corps believes that everyone has an important story to tell and that everyone’s story matters. Their mission is to preserve and share humanity’s stories in order to build connections between people and create a more just and compassionate world.

Since its founding in 2003, they’ve helped more than 630,000 people across the country have meaningful conversations about their lives. These recordings are collected in the U.S. Library of Congress and in their online archive which is now the largest single collection of human voices ever gathered.

Tell Your Story

We welcome you to share your lived experience. Your story isn't just a window into your life but the experiences of other disabled people who seek community, understanding, and change. Amplifying our stories ensures that we are heard; both in rooms where we are celebrated and where our quality of life is being decided by law-makers who underestimate and de-prioritize our survival.

Join DDP and Story Corps in amplifying the voices of the disabled community!
