Detroit City Council has 1 day to vote on transportation contract

ID: Richard Clay is pictured in his Detroit home, he is a blind and relies on paratransit services to pick him up from his home to take him to various places.

Durhal said his office also received a support letter from Detroit Disability Power, an advocacy group, stating it's not an ideal contract and they support a shorter deal but the group understands the circumstances and does not want to jeopardize paratransit. Members from the group urged council members at previous meetings to ensure quality services are provided across Detroit.
