Disability Justice, Caregiving, and Ableism

This summer, we worked with 2 Wayne State University interns, Candice Kwok and Pallavi Kurakula. They were enrolled in Rachel Dortin's undergraduate English class, Community Writing, which paired them with a local organization. They created this video as the culmination of the internship. We are impressed with the result! And grateful to share it with everyone. You'll get a peek at Baba Baxter's everyday life, and see his caregivers in action. Please share it with your communities, to educate others about ableism and disability. We hope this video will also inspire others to join our team and contribute to the project!
