THANK YOU!!

Thank you for joining us at Sunday Solidarity: Building Beloved Community! We hope taking part in this gathering spurred you into action and learning for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Across twelve different workshops on disability justice and healing, over 120 of us met to strategize, envision, and share tools for creative and sustainable change in our Detroit communities. It was a beautiful way to start our year and a beautiful way to transition to Dr. King's day of national service.

Your presence added so much insight and value that we'd love to hear about your experience. Please fill out our evaluation form linked here to help develop this event into something greater.

If you're looking for an opportunity to organize with us soon, consider attending Centering People with Disabilities in Mutual Aid Work. This upcoming virtual event will take place on Friday January 29th @ 6-7:30pm. Please fill out the RSVP/interest form linked here.

Lastly, see below a link to PDF that provides a recap of Sunday Solidarity: Building Beloved Community as well as helpful information to learn more about our event partners and workshop presenters. We hope these materials are useful in your justice journey!

Please message me any time at ramiro@DetroitDisabilityPower.org if you have ideas or questions to share.

In solidarity,

Ramiro Alvarez
