This workshop will equip you with foundational knowledge about disability as a cultural and political identity; will help you unpack feelings and common misconceptions about disability; and will help you chart a path towards dismantling ableism and co-creating a world that works for everyone. We'll dive into disability language, best practices for accessibility, and identify how ableism shows up in our every day lives and organizing practices. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect and share their experiences and learnings in a judgement-free environment.
