On Thursday, September from 6-8pm ET, DDP is hosting our third in a series of five virtual Community Conversations about ableism, ageism, and racism. This second discussion will focus on the experiences of and insights from growing up with a disability and will feature perspectives from the following panelists: Naomi Ortiz (Poet, Writer, Facilitator, and Visual Artist), Nkenge Browner (mother & activist), Ani Grigorian (geriatric social worker and accessibility consultant) and Rhi Chester Bay (caregiver & healing arts practitioner), and will be moderated by Dessa Cosma (DDP Executive Director). Healing by Choice! will be partnering with us on this series to offer grounding exercises throughout the series. All events in this series will be virtual and are free to attend.
